Learning how to do ujjayi breathing primes you for labor and childbirth by training you to stay calm when you need it most.

Prenatal Yoga can help align the body and help mom with carrying the baby most comfortably. Prenatal yoga can prevent and relieve many common discomforts of pregnancy including backache, water retention, fatigue, and sciatic pain. Yoga also helps to stabilize the emotions, relieve stress, and integrate changes in the body. You will leave class feeling relaxed, centered and energized!

Prenatal Yoga not only stretches the muscles improving flexibility and promoting healthy blood flow, but yoga also builds strength. Prepare for Birth
Yoga builds strength and confidence in the body and stimulates the relaxation response, releasing fear, tension, and stress that can be a barrier in childbirth.
Through yoga practice we develop body and breath awareness, focus, and concentration, learning to relax quickly and completely and practicing softening around the sensations of opening up. These are the skills that will help you most as you move through your labor.

Class Style
Our prenatal yoga practice will offer a challenging, strong practice that accommodates where we are in our pregnancies from first to third trimester. Care and attention is given to issue that arise with our changing bodies. This practice will offer a little sweat and some relaxation!

$65 for 5 classes (card expires 6 weeks after initial class)
$120 for 10 classes (card expires 12 weeks after initial class)

**Prenatal class punch cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and NOT valid for on-going and/or community classes. They are also NOT valid for workshops and/or special events.
